Palletforce continues its motto of working with the best after partnering with a former rally champion for the 2018 MSA British Rally Championship. David Bogie from Dumfries in Scotland will be carrying Palletforce branding on his Skoda Fabia R5 rally car when the series kicks off with the opening round this weekend.
Palletforce will benefit from significant brand exposure, promoting its express distribution services over five televised events in England, Belgium, Wales, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man.
Thirty-year-old Bogie, who was both British and Scottish rally champion in 2011, is one of the championship favourites and will be pushing for victory this weekend on the Carlisle-based Pirelli Rally.
It takes in 83 miles of super-fast, gravel roads through the infamous Kielder Forest complex in Northumberland. The rally is unforgiving, its tracks are lined with deep ditches, but Bogie has good experience of the conditions and finalised his car set-up at a pre-event test on Wednesday.
The British Rally Championship has a 30-minute round-up broadcast on Channel 4 on the weekend after each event while a 60-minute programme is also shown on BT Sport.
Dave Holland, Palletforce sales and marketing director, said: “Partnering with David Bogie in the British Rally Championship opens up a range of marketing benefits, allowing the Palletforce brand to reach even more consumers through the terrestrial TV coverage the championship offers.
“The high octane sport is a natural fit to promote our express distribution services and align the Palletforce brand with other household names and consumer brands.”
David Bogie said: “We are excited to have Palletforce as a partner this season and I’m very much looking forward to getting the championship challenge underway tomorrow. We won a round of the Scottish championship last weekend and had a good test on Wednesday so have had the best possible preparation for challenge ahead.”
