Palletforce, the UK’s leading express pallet network, says it’s in its strongest ever position for growth and service after welcoming two new members to the expanding network. Its continual investment in infrastructure, technology and skills exudes confidence within the industry and has helped to attract a total of six new members already this year.
DNA Express Couriers and NGC Logistics will cover postcodes from Surrey to Buckinghamshire, and together will further reinforce Palletforce’s presence in south-east England.
Founded in 2008, NGC Logistics is based in Birmingham but has recently opened a new depot in Buckingham. This is the first time they have joined a pallet network, and according to managing director Nav Singh the move to Palletforce will help to further develop growth.
“After nearly 10 years of success we feel we have reached something of a glass ceiling, and becoming a member of Palletforce will give us the impetus and collective reach we need to go to the next level,” he said.
DNA Express Couriers covers the KT postcode area and has been working with Palletforce for the last 18 months.
Managing director Tony Bunn said: “Working with Palletforce has given us an opportunity to see the benefits of the network, and we are delighted to become a full member this year.”
Both firms have joined Palletforce following its acquisition by global investment group EmergeVest in 2015. The move has provided Palletforce with the financial fire-power to invest heavily in its infrastructure and technology over the last two years.
It’s biggest commitment, a £50m SuperHub development, Europe’s largest drive-through central distribution hub, is capable of processing in excess of 30,000 pallets a night and set to open in August.
