EV Cargo’s Palletforce has continued its run of successful member recruitment by attracting another first-class, family-run operator to further enhance network capacity and drive service performance for customers.
Box Logistics is run by an experienced management team of long-term transport operators and will cover BR postcodes around Orpington and selected Tonbridge TN postcodes including Sevenoaks, further strengthening Palletforce’s coverage in the South-East of England.
Through its road freight division Box Logistics specialises in both UK and overseas worldwide freight services and express trailer shipments, providing a door-to-door service to all major destinations.
The company has an experienced and well-respected pallet network operation but has been looking for a new network partner with the strength and resources to enable it to expand and improve its offering to new and existing customers.
Managing director Steve Gaines said: “It’s a crowded market but having seen what they have to offer it’s clear that Palletforce is a network we can do business with.
“They have invested in the technology and infrastructure needed to run a modern, effective network – and once you’ve seen their SuperHub in Burton, you can never unsee it!”
With a staff of 30 and a fleet of 25 vehicles, Box Logistics is seeking to expand its customer base in one of the busiest and most competitive areas of the country.
Palletforce Network Development Director David Breeze said: “We are committed to recruiting quality members with an unrivalled depth of local expertise to ensure we continue to deliver sector-leading service excellence – and have a significant active pipeline of new member requests.
“Box Logistics is a hugely respected operator with a first-class reputation for service, and we are delighted they have chosen Palletforce for their network operations. They will prove a valuable addition to our service offering in the South-East of England.”
