A family firm with almost 100 years’ transport history has become the latest to join the UK’s most modern express freight distribution network.
N C Cammack & Son, joined Palletforce this month after switching from Fortec.
They will cover postcodes in the Colchester area, close to their 60,000 sq ft central warehousing and storage facilities at Earls Colne Business Park, previously undertaken by current Palletforce member Simarco.
Continually growing pallet volumes have allowed Simarco, based in Witham, to give up part of their area, allowing them to target further intensive growth and maintain the high levels of quality service Palletforce is renowned for.
Founded in 1919, N C Cammack & Son has experienced continued growth offering services including UK and European haulage, palletised and abnormal loads, secure storage solutions and more.

October 5th marked the official opening by HRH Princess Royal of Palletforce’s new £50m distribution SuperHub, the latest and biggest investment in the company since its acquisition by EmergeVest in 2015.
The 620,000 sq ft custom-built facility, at the company’s central site at Burton upon Trent, is the largest of its type in Europe and will be capable of handling 30,000 pallets a night.
