EV Cargo’s Palletforce, the award-winning express distribution network, continues to strengthen its network capability with the recruitment of a new South West member transport company.

Virginia Hayward Logistics is a second generation, family-owned and managed business, with a blue chip clientele and an international reach through offices in the Far East.

With more than 440,000 sq ft of warehousing at its headquarters in Dorset, and a fleet of articulated, 18 and 7.5 tonne rigid lorries, the company will further strengthen Palletforce’s offering in the South West by covering selected SP postcodes around Salisbury and Amesbury.

Virginia Hayward Logistics offers a comprehensive end-to-end logistics service for customers including Arla and Sacla from its BRC accredited facilities. As well as warehousing space, the company also benefits from two large, refrigerated areas for fresh food storage.

Head of Logistics Nigel Bradbury said: “We pride ourselves on a strong, service-based culture that is focused on both customer satisfaction and high service standards, and we were looking for a network partner that matched and complemented this.

“Palletforce not only gave us confidence in their ability, but their advanced technology allowed us to integrate fully and align our systems easily.

“By joining Palletforce, we are now able to complement our existing offerings with additional services at a very competitive rate, allowing us the opportunity to continue our rapid growth as a logistics provider.”

David Breeze, Palletforce’s Network Development Director, said: “Virginia Hayward Logistics will be a superb addition to the network. Their reputation as a first class, trusted operator precedes them, and I have no doubt they will play a major part in our mission to operate the strongest possible member-focused network.

“I believe Palletforce offers unrivalled quality in the South West, with a range of expert operators ensuring all our members’ customers receive the highest levels of service.”
