The UK’s leading express distribution network Palletforce has launched its new Chinese pallet service, aimed at providing a unique new package for its members’ small and medium customer base.
Palletforce Asia Services will provide the network’s 100 members with flexible and competitive access to the growing Far East market, with the ability to ship single pallets from China.
The unique in-house service will benefit from the experience of partner businesses within parent company EmergeVest’s group.
Aimed at small and medium-sized customers Palletforce Asia Services will enable movement of all sizes of consignments, from single pallets to full container loads.
It’s expected to deliver further growth opportunities for Palletforce members as the service will enable customers to cut-down on stock-holding and combat the need to order large quantities to meet minimum freight requirements.
Palletforce has installed a bespoke IT platform in both the UK and China, which will link directly to the company’s existing Alliance tracking system.
Chief executive Michael Conroy says: “China and the Far East offer huge opportunities for our sector, and Palletforce Asia Services will provide a gateway for our members to further establish themselves in this growing market.
“This unique and section leading service will also benefit their customers, who will able to trade globally lower minimum order quantities which in turn opens up new opportunities.”
